The Unwritten Law

You can write your laws on parchment, you can bind them with a seal

But they cannot govern the territory of the way the spirit feels.

They legislate the surface, but they cannot rule the core

The deep, ancient agreement that we all exist for more.

The sovereign right to breath, to sustenance, to heal

A humanist charter that the spirit refuses to repeal.

THE ONLY LAW THAT MATTERS IS THE ONE YOU WRITE ON YOUR OWN SOUL

THE DEEPEST, TRUEST INSTINCT THAT MAKES THE BROKEN WHOLE.

WE DEMAND THE MEANS, WE DEMAND THE END OF THE DEBT

THE UNWRITTEN LAW OF DIGNITY WILL RISE AGAIN.

They claim morality is fixed, defined by ancient, tribal fear

A brittle, broken compass that points nowhere useful from here.

But truth is kinetic, justice is a continuous, hard-won fight

And the sacred ground of freedom is forged in the brutal night

Of hard-won battles. The only authority I seek

Is the resonant frequency that travels when the vulnerable speak.
