Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated in September 2026.

Amy Jean Nobles Gallery is committed to making ajnobles.com usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who navigate with assistive technologies such as screen readers, switch controls, and keyboard-only input. This is an ongoing effort, and the site is reviewed regularly as it grows.

What we've done so far

The gallery has been built with the following accessibility considerations:

  • :Semantic HTML headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page by structure
  • :Alternative text on artwork, recipe, and book imagery
  • :Full keyboard navigation, so every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse
  • :Visible focus states on links, buttons, and form fields
  • :A respect for reduced motion: visitors who set their system to prefer reduced motion get a static, non-animated presentation
  • :High-contrast text against the site's dark background
  • :A dedicated search, wishlist, and recently-viewed flow that works without an account

Third-party content

Some pages embed or link to third-party content: the SoundCloud music player, YouTube videos, bookseller links, and the fine-art print lab's website, where orders are placed. We choose partners whose platforms meet accessibility standards, but we do not control their full experience. If you encounter a barrier inside a third-party embed, please let us know and we will help you complete what you need directly.
